Persönliches Lied für Ella — einfach so

Der Liedtext

[Verse 1]
We've known each other for many years, my dear Ella,
experienced so much, so wonderful.
We hear each other speak almost every day,
always have something to tell.
You are a person with a big heart,
helping others in need and pain.

And for that I appreciate you very much,
because there aren't many people like you.

Last year on your special day,
I suddenly stood before you.

In England, the surprise was great,
the joy then boundless.

This year I can't be with you,
but this song is for you.

It carries my wishes to you,
because I'm thinking of you.

My best friend, I wish you
all the best from the bottom of my heart, believe me.

Much strength and patience for what's to come,
so that your new beginning brings you joy.

Your path now leads to America,
even though my heart grows a little heavy.

The distance separates us, but believe me,
you will always remain here in my heart.

A big step now lies before you,
a new life awaits you.

I wish you courage for every day,
and that many wonderful things may await you.

May God's blessing be with you,
health and love always by your side.

May all your wishes come true,
and happiness be with you on all your paths.

I'm sad that you're going so far,
and that I can no longer simply see you.

No spontaneous visits, no get-togethers,
but sometimes that's just how life is.

Even though an ocean lies between us,
our friendship remains, which will never run dry.

My best friend, stay as you are,
a person who will never be forgotten.

Take care of yourself, don't forget me,
because our friendship will never lose its light.

Wherever you are, I'm thinking of you,
and sending you lots of love.

Happy birthday,
God's blessings always be with you.

All my love on your birthday,

God's blessings always be with you.
... I love you, I want you to know that,

even across a thousand miles.

Your Jasna ❤️
